HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver

HGV Class 1 Shunter required for a shunting position with our well-established client in Lutterworth, LE17.

This particular company are well known nationwide, they have operated in the local area for many years and are a leading in general haulage. HGV Class 1 Shunter will be working a Temp to Perm basis. This will be TUG driving. 

The Role:

The HGV Class 1 Shunter will be required to work Monday to Friday on days. The work starts immediately and involves shunting around a busy yard and between other sites on the industrial estate, will be doing 60 movements a day. May be asked to do a Class1 run. 

The shunting will be done with a TUG. 

Requirements for this role:

The HGV Class 1 Shunter will require:

Minimum of 12 months Class 1 Shunting experience!

Cat C entitlement on their licence 
Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card
No more than 6 points on licence 
Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest 

Hours & Pay:

The start time will be 06:00 Monday to Friday. The HGV Class 1 Shunter will work upwards of 9-10 hour days - Monday to Friday.

The HGV Class 1 Shunter hourly rate for this role is:

£14.50 Per Hour - Monday to Friday PAYE
