CLASS 2 / 7.5 TONNE DELIVERY DRIVER

WORKING 4 DAYS OUT OF 6 BETWEEN MONDAY - SATURDAY: 05.00 - 06.00 STARTS

£13.00 - £19.50 PAYE PER HOUR

People Solutions are looking for Class 2 Drivers for our Client based in Cumbernauld.

You will be driving Class 2 and 7.5 Tonne vehicles and so will need a Category C Licence.

You will be working 4 days out 6 between Monday to Saturday. You must be available to work Saturdays.

Rates of pay:

• £13.00 PAYE per hour basic
• £19.50 PAYE per hour overtime

Day to Day Duties

• Driving/operating Class 2 and 7.5 Tonne vehicles safely and efficiently
• Delivery of furniture to customer's homes
• May be required to build some flat pack items
• Must be physically fit as heavy lifting is involved
• Up to 20 drops per day as part of a two person team
• 4 Days per week
• Planned on 12 hour shifts
• Customer facing

Essential Skills

• Must have a valid UK Category C Driving Licence
• Must have a valid Digi Card & CPC Card
• Availability to work 4 days out of 6 ( including Saturdays)
• Availability to work on a 12 hour day basis

Desirable Experience

Multi Drop Experience is preferred
Experience working in a customer facing role would be desirable

Training

This role will involve a three-hour Driving Assessment which will comprise approximately 1.5 hours driving, plus a written test
There is also two full days classroom training, which will be paid
