Class 2 Driver

Exciting Temporary Multi–drop Driver Opportunity!
Days and hours: Monday–Friday: 07:00–17:00
Hourly rate: 13 per hour + 100 a week
You MUST hold a Class 2 driving license for this role!
Our client, a leading company in their industry, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Multi–drop Driver to join their team on a temporary basis. If you have a passion for customer care and delivering products safely and efficiently, this could be the perfect role for you.
As a Multi–drop Driver, your main responsibility will be to deliver products to designated customers within a set time frame. With up to 30 deliveries a day, you'll be kept busy and engaged throughout your working day.
In this role, you'll be expected to keep accurate records of deliveries and customer authorisations, submitting all documentation to the management team on time. It's essential that you properly use and maintain your delivery equipment, including hand held devices. Physical strength is occasionally required, as you may need to lift heavy products or boxes while ensuring no damage occurs to yourself or the company's products.
Safety is paramount in this role, and you must drive safely while following all laws and rules of the road. Additionally, you'll be responsible for keeping the company vehicle clean, well–maintained, and road legal. Regular vehicle defect reports are required to ensure everything is in order.
Your communication skills will be put to good use as you update customers on the estimated time of their deliveries. Utilising the provided safes in the vehicles, you'll ensure the security of any monies that come into your possession during your time with our client. Any theft must be reported immediately to the police.
To thrive in this position, you'll need to follow pre–planned routes accurately, but also be prepared for potential deviations or changes in delivery, route, or schedule. As a representative of our client, providing exceptional customer service is crucial. You'll also be expected to collaborate with management and communicate any obstacles that may affect timely and efficient deliveries.

The Transport Manager may occasionally assign additional duties within the depot, allowing you to broaden your skills and contribute to the overall success of the team.
