DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV Class 2 to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Monday to Friday - must be able to cover start times between 04:30 - 06:30
- Delivering to licensed premises on behalf of our trade team clients based in our Newquay Depot with manual handling required.
- Will work with a driver's mate when needed and we are seeking to add new members to our team due to higher volumes of work.
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
We'd love to hear from you if you have the following experience but don't hesitate to apply if you don't tick every box on this page - we're great at spotting talent and potential in everyone:
- You will hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card .
- Ideally have a least 6 months of actual driving experience but new passes are welcome.
- These roles involve the manual handling of kegs of beer and cases of wines and spirits.
