As a Class 2 Hi-AB Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods to various locations. Your responsibilities will include operating and manoeuvring a Class 2 vehicle with a Hi-AB crane attachment, loading and unloading materials, and adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle equipped with a Hi-AB crane.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness.
- Load and unload materials using the Hi-AB crane, adhering to proper lifting and securing techniques.
- Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
- Complete accurate and timely paperwork, including delivery notes and vehicle logs.
- Comply with all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organised vehicle.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 driving license.
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
- Hi-AB certification.
- Proven experience as a Class 2 Hi-AB Driver.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations.
- Excellent driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
