Salary: between £12-£15 per h/45 hour a week
Shift: Days, Monday to Friday
Type: PAYE

We are hiring a Class 2 Lorry Driver to join a dynamic and expanding business in the rapidly growing parcel delivery sector. You will be delivering on a self-employed courier basis with our support and guidance. This is a fast-paced environment, and you will be an important part of this team helping to continue the growth of the business. You’ll become a member of a supportive team that works together to create an unbeatable service.
Duties of a Class 2 Lorry Driver (7.5 Tonne)
Safely operate a Class 2 lorry (7.5-tonne vehicle) to transport goods to various destinations.
Ensure the timely and secure delivery of goods to customers.
Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws, maintaining a high standard of safety at all times.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
Load and unload goods, securing loads for transportation.
Maintain accurate delivery records and log any issues or discrepancies.
Provide excellent customer service, representing our company in a professional and friendly manner.
Skills and experience of a Class 2 Lorry Driver (7.5 Tonne)
Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
Digital Tachograph Card.
A strong commitment to safety and compliance.
Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road regulations.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
