The position involves:
· Delivering garage doors nationally to builders’ merchants and construction sites all across the UK.
· Loading/unloading of vehicle.
· Planning route on a day-to-day basis.
· Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone.
· Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations.
· Attending regular training sessions.
Essential Skills:
· Must have a UK Class 2 C Licence.
· Previous multi drop experience is advantageous but full training will be given.
· Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
· Working to deadlines.
· Confident, polite and a team player.
· Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
· Good geographical knowledge.
· Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
