Berry Recruitment Southampton are working with a National Waste management service for an open role based in Macclesfield, SK10.
Role:Class 2 Driver / Waste Operative
Job Type: Temporary
Duration: Monday 5th February to Sunday 14th April 2024
Hours: 37.5 per week.
Shift Pattern: 06:00 - 14:00 Monday to Friday. You will work 1 Sunday shift every 3 weeks so the following Friday you will have off as a rest day.
About the role:
- You will be driving to planned collection locations and moving / emptying multiple commercial waste containers.
- Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
- Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
- Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including and weight of loads
You will need to have experience driving Class 2 Vehicles and hold a full UK Driving Licence, Digi Tacho and CPC.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:
- A Full UK C Category Driving Licence
- No previous DD / DR Convictions
- Less than 6 endorsement points
- Valid Digi Card (Digital Tachograph Card)
- Valid CPC Card
