As an assistant, your primary focus is to support the Centre's main objective of delivering a positive learning experience for every student in every class. You will achieve this by collaborating with the Instructor to ensure the smooth, efficient, and professional operation of the class. A commitment to the well-being of all students attending the centre is crucial, along with a high degree of professionalism and the ability to work effectively within a team to achieve agreed-upon goals.
Your duties and responsibilities, which are not exhaustive and subject to regular review, include setting up and clearing down the classroom promptly, supervising specific students as directed by the Instructor within designated learning zones, ensuring excellent class discipline, accurately marking and recording student work and completing reports, liaising and maintaining positive relationships with parents, providing a professional reception service for the centre when required, adhering to and promoting all Lode Heath Centre policies and procedures, carrying out any reasonable duties as requested by the Instructor, and attending training sessions outside of normal class times as necessary.
Please note: all successful applicants aged 18 and over will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and required to register with the on-line DBS service.
