SalaryOur client is looking for a Class IIWaste Driver to work in the Exeter area.
You will need to have experience of dust, skip and Roro driving.
This can role involves early starts but your start time will depend on the vehicle you are driving. You will need to be adaptable as the earliest start time is 04.00am but it could be 07.00.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including dust, skip and Roro.
- Transport goods and materials to and from specified locations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and delivery protocols
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class II)
- A maximum of 6 points
- Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems or maps to reach destinations
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading of cargo and long hours of driving

About You:
- Own Transport essential
- You will have hold a Class II licence
- Maximum 6 points for minor offences
- Experience essential
- Looking for flexibility and variation
