Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of  Linthwaite Clough Junior, Infant and Early Years School.

At Linthwaite Clough Primary School, we're embarking on a new chapter, and we're seeking a an inspirational and dynamic Class Teacher of KS2 with commitment, energy, and passion to join us and our new Head of School.

What the role involves in a nutshell:

  • Take responsibility for a class of children determined on an annual basis by the Head of School and in accordance with the duties listed below;
  • To carry out the professional duties covered by the latest School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document. The post holder will be expected to undertake duties in line with the professional standards for qualified teachers and uphold the professional code of the General Teaching Council for England;
  • Teach a class of pupils, and ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs;
  • To promote the school's vision and values;
  • Securing and maintaining good relationships, contributing to a positive culture, with teaching and non-teaching staff, parents and governors;
  • To demonstrate a commitment to positive behaviour management throughout the school;
