Classroom Assistants - Temp Contract (May Lead To Permanent)

TEMPORARY CLASSROOM ASSISTANTS – BELFAST BT8 South/East Belfast

Our client is seeking to recruit ClassroomAssistants to work within the school on a temporary ongoingbasis.

Duties and Responsibilities

·To meet the pupil at reception each morningand leave them to their transport each afternoon.

·To provide in-class support as directed by theSpecial Educational Needs Coordinator and subject teacher

·To accompany the pupil from classroom toclassroom

·To accompany the pupil on all educationalvisits and outings

·To supervise where necessary during lunchbreaks and home time

Qualifications and Experience

• 1.Aminimum of 5 GCSE passes at grade C or above to include Maths & English, orequivalent qualifications.

• 2.Experience of working with achild/children in either a paid or voluntary capacity

Other Information:

Hours: Mondayto Friday 9am - 3.30pm (28.75hrs per week)

Salary £10.42- £11.67 perhour plus accrued holiday pay

Contract: Thisposition is on a temporary ongoing basis from now to end of June 2024 with aview of possibly going permanent at the end of the school year.
