Start: Immediate start desired  
Contract: To end of Summer Term 2024, but with scope to become permanent
Hours: Full- time

GSL Education are seeking a nurturing and passionate Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream primary schools situated in Thorncombe, Chard. The school prides themselves on their inclusivity and tailored provision where every child’s individual needs are met, supported, and catered for. The school are looking for candidates with a passion providing quality provision to meet pupils’ needs, including pupils with SEN.
The role consists of supporting pupils’ learning during lessons and transitions throughout the day, engaging children in activities and interventions, and responding to their needs. The successful candidate will have the ability to support the class teacher and become a part of the wonderful nurturing staff team.
The role is available for an immediate start, full-time, however the school may also consider part-time applicants.
