Vocational and Personal Development Tutor (Classroom Tutor)

£25k plus £2k uplift (£27k) - 4 day week Monday to Thursday (No Fridays) 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays, birthday off each year and loyalty days for long service

HMP Bullingdon Oxford

7.30am to 4.30pm Permanent 4 days a week

As a classroom Tutor, you will develop and deliver high quality, learner-focused knowledge sessions to meet the needs of the Learners in attendance and the contractual requirements specified by the said establishment. Delivery will be in line with our clients Quality Assurance standards and policies and procedures, and where applicable, the relevant Awarding Organisation’s standards.

We are looking for Tutors experienced in delivering the following subject areas: numeracy, money management, employability, living well, positive mental health and living independently. You will be delivering basic money management courses, teaching learners how to budget, open bank accounts, house insurance, acknowledge outgoings etc... Is this you ? Must hold a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (CTLLS) or equivalent

Ideally hold at least a Level 3 Information and Guidance qualification

Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy or equivalent

Have experience of delivering to groups of 10 within a classroom environment

Do you have experience of delivering numeracy, employability, money management classes to learners ? and a positive and supportive attitude ?

We need you to have a good level of IT skills and be a good problem solver

Ability to be flexible and innovation with delivery methods Prepared to undertake an enhanced prison clearance check.
