An opportunity has arisen for us to appoint a class teacher from the 1st September (or from the second half of the Summer Term if possible.)  We are keen to receive applications from experienced or newly qualified teachers as we believe that all new staff have much to offer in helping us to provide the very best for all our children and families.  We believe that teaching is a fantastic and worthwhile profession; where every day can make a difference. All members of our Heatherside community work hard together; supporting each other and making sure we have some fun along the way too!

We can offer you

  • A supportive staff, parent and governor community plus fantastic, hardworking children.
  • The opportunity to be paid from 1st August for excellent ECTs or highly qualified teachers returning to the profession.
  • Weekly PPA time and ongoing professional development, including additional release time/training opportunities.
  • The chance to work in partnership with experienced colleagues.
  • A happy school community, where team work is a real strength and staff wellbeing is important. We have high expectations of both children and our staff but also believe that everyone’s experience of school should be successful and memorable too!
  • A well-resourced school with extensive grounds and excellent facilities for learning.

If you would like to know more about this post, please do not hesitate to contact us; it is always lovely to show people round! Visits to the school are encouraged and can be arranged by calling us or emailing the school office on adminoffice@heatherside-jun.hants.sch.uk

All applications should be via the HCC Application Form which is available to download on the right of this page.
