Liverpool College is guided by its motto: Not Only the Intellect but also Character. Our mission and unique approach to the education of the whole child is further explained at www.liverpoolcollege.org.uk. We seek to focus on the individual and develop in everything we do at school the three key traits of our learners: Purpose, Passion and Challenge. Our commitment to Learning with Character and our three core traits create a cohesive community across the entire campus and ensure we continue our founders’ intention to make the formation of character a prime purpose of education. Above all, Liverpool College is a happy, successful and outward-looking school with a clear mission and an undiluted belief in the importance of educating the whole person. Liverpool College was judged Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted at its last inspection in November 2019.
All staff members are eligible to use the school’s commercial gym (LC Sports) free of charge. Also, if a staff member has been employed continuously by Liverpool College for two years or more and they wish to apply for their child to attend Liverpool College, their application will be considered under the oversubscription criteria applying to staff children, which means there is a greater possibility for staff children to gain a place at the College if there are places available within their year group.
