Monday-Friday 5 days per week, 3 hours per day between the hours 09:00am-12:00pm (15 hours per week)

We are currently looking for a Cleaner in the Bury St, Edmunds area (IP32 7RH) to provide an effective cleaning service to our Independent Living schemes, ensuring that working practices are safe and compliant and that all schemes are covered as required.

What you will be doing:

• Undertake cleaning tasks effectively in all communal areas in Independent Living schemes, including guest rooms.

• Regular stock checks in Independent Living schemes, ensuring that appropriate cleaning items are ordered.

• Ensure that all schemes are covered during periods of absence to provide a high-quality service (work with the Independent Living Cleaning team to manage this).

We’d love to meet someone with:

• Experience of carrying out cleaning duties

• The ability to use Microsoft Office packages, such as Outlook and Word.

• The ability to walk around schemes and use light cleaning machinery.

• The ability to travel between schemes as required.

• A flexible and team-centred approach to work

• Understanding of the needs of people with vulnerabilities.
