We have recently expanded and refurbished our Practice at Chapel End Surgery. We are now looking for a Part Time cleaner to work 15 hours per week Monday to Friday.
You will be offered a 3 month trial period, upon completing this successfully you will be offered a permanent position.
Hours of work, during the initial 3 months probation period you will be required to work 8am-11am Monday to Friday. After the probation period you can work either early mornings 6am-9am or evenings 6pm-9pm Monday to Friday.
We require someone that can work within a small team, work independently and be motivated. Is this you?
The ideal candidate will be presentable, punctual, have excellent organisational skills, time keeping skills and attention to detail. A flexible approach to working is a must along with extremely high standards and a love for what they do.
Must have cleaning experience in a similar role. Please note that all candidates for this role will need a DBS check.
Qualifications and Key Skills: Must have proven working experience as a Domestic Cleaner, knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, familiarity with COSHH Health and Safety Regulations and the following;
- Understanding of English;
- Preferably previous experience of domestic cleaning in GP surgery
- Ability to work with cleaning agents safely;
- Familiarity with sanitary and hygienic regulations;
- Excellent communication and organisational skills;
- Customer-oriented and friendly;
- Responsible and reliable;
- Professional approach towards tasks;
- High attention to details;
- Ability to maintain a high level of performance and work with minimal supervision;
- Prioritisation and time management skills;
- Ability to multitask but still comply with the schedule;
- Capacity to work quickly while still provide quality;
- Physical fitness and stamina;
Main Duties include:
- Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning including working areas, kitchens, communal spaces such as reception, corridors.
- Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies such as hand wash, toilet paper & paper towels
- Conducting weekly stock check and reporting to the Manager
- Conducting monthly disinfection and deep cleaning tasks.
- Conducting daily flushing tasks restroom cleaning etc) Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks.
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
- Make adjustments and minor repairs.
- Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently - Emptying and disposing of bin waste -
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
