North Yorkshire Council has a Caretaker/Cleaner vacancy at Green Hammerton School, in a lovely village on the outskirts of York.
Your main duties would include:
- Opening the site - including an outside security check to designated entrances for broken glass and litter etc. Ensuring the outside areas are safe and clean.
- Completing fire alarm and emergency light checks.
- Assisting with minor repairs.
- Changing light bulbs and fluorescent tubes as required.
- Cleaning staff areas of the school, including offices and staff room.
This would be based on 7.5 hours a week caretaking and 2.5 cleaning, Monday to Friday. Equalling to 2 hours a day. The hours are to be completed before 8:30am and start and finish times can be flexible depending on the needs of the school.
