About The Role
The overall purpose of the role is to support cleaning at TATA global beverages in EaglescliffeThis will include an element of shift working to ensure that all relevant shift cover can be provided in the case of sickness and holidays
You’ll also:
- Make sure that areas are always cleaned to the highest standards.
- Make sure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly.
- You will be carrying out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins and cleaning washrooms.
- Carry out cleaning and housekeeping duties as directed by the cleaning Manager within client production areas throughout the factory.
- Participate in any communication activities through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas.
- Take responsibility for reviewing the safe system of work prior to the commencement of the work activity. Take responsibility for ensuring that plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Good attention to detail
- To be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
Food hygiene certificate desirable.
Experience :
- Experience of general cleaning activities – site familiarisation will be given.
- Experience of Security duties and security assignment tasks.
- Use of cleaning equipment and machinery i.e. scrubber driers / sweepers etc.
- Experience of using cleaning chemicals.
- Experience of working in a manufacturing / food production environment would be an advantage.
