We are now offering a fantastic opportunity to join the Grimsby Institute in the role of Cleaning Supervisor. This role offers a great opportunity for someone willing to develop their skills and to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
About the role
We are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to work within the Estates Team at Nuns Corner campus, and organise the cleaning team on a daily basis. The successful candidate will ensure work is carried out in accordance within specification, health, hygiene and safety procedures and monitor levels of cleaning products and stock, ensuring all Hygiene staff have equipment and materials to carry out their daily tasks. You will monitor cleaning standards and contribute to raising the cleanliness standards across the Partnership to ensure Service Level Agreement Standards are met. No two days are the same, and you will be tasked with ensuring the daily demands are met, using the resources available.
About the person
The successful candidate will support the Hygiene Manager to maintain records relating to staff attendance, maintenance repairs and servicing and assist the Hygiene Manager in staff supervision and monitoring of work performance. Candidates should also have previous cleaning experience and knowledge of manual handling, portage or removal.
