What you'll be doing
- Organise Team Members to deliver a safe service effectively to a high standard and monitor performance including performance feedback
- Complete daily audits
- Ensure that effective communication is given to the staff on their routes, scope and expectations in each area every week
- Ensure that all staff can gain access to areas that they are cleaning
- Identify and supports Team Members who can and are willing to evolve their careers within Aramark
- Train new Team Members to learn procedures and all general tasks
- Support the effective delivery of Core and adhoc cleaning as and when required
- Ensure cleaning standards and safety procedures are adhered to
- Champion excellent cleaning standards at all time
- Complete a personal training plan and ensure that all on and off job training is carried out accordingly for all staff
- With the support of the Cleaning Manager, ensure all cleaning staff are knowledgeable of the chemicals they use, the expectation from them of the cleaning standards and the audit scoring
- Provides cover when staff are on annual leave
- Ensure that all areas have suitable volumes of stock and that PAR levels are kept so the client is over charged for holding too much stock
- This role will encompass a number of areas that supervision will be required varying from a large office environment to control rooms and mess facilities
- On occasion you will be expected to start and finish work later in the day to ensure adequate training and supervision is given to the evening cleaning team.
Experience
- Previous experience in a supervisory role is desirable
- Enhanced DBS checks required
- Must have knowledge of COSHH, manual handling and stocktaking
- Basic computer skills would be an advantage
- Previous experience would be an advantage but on the job training will be provided.
