About The Role
As a Cleaning Supervisor, your main aim will be to supervise a team of cleaning staff, undertaking daily inspections of the site and ensuring staff are working productively and safely.
You will also:
- Work with customer representatives to address any specific requirements or concerns
- Manage equipment, materials and stock levels
- Train and develop staff
- Carry out general cleaning duties
- Control costs to ensure services are delivered within agreed budget
- Supervise quality control procedures to ensure high standards are maintained
- Conduct team briefings to cascade information to staff
- Ensure staff present a professional image
- Leading a team of cleaners at a prestigious customer site
- To oversee and monitor all cleaning and associated duties carried out by all those that you are responsible for supervising
- To effectively manage and monitor the assigned units within budgetary restraints whilst conforming to the client’s and OCS specification
- To understand the units working pattern so you do not conflict with the units daily working pattern
- Participate in any communication activities through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas.
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry and ;
- within a healthcare environment desired but not essential as full training will be provided
- Strong people skills
BICS trained and BICS assessor desirable but not essential
The ability to be able to communicate effectively in English
Ensure personal appearance and presentation including uniform is maintained at a high standard at all time
