Cleansing And Maintenance Officer

Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated and proactive Cleansing and Maintenance Officerto join our client team in North Tyneside. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning children's play areas, ensuring they are safe and welcoming for the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Maintenance and Cleansing:
  • Sweeping and litter removal
  • Emptying of bins
  • Graffiti removal
  • Clearing of leaves
  • Fly-tipping and bonfire removal
• 
  Use of Power Tools:
  • Strimmers
  • Leaf blowers
  • Drills
  • Sanders
• 
  General Duties:
  • Driving duties including routine vehicle maintenance/inspection and vehicle cleaning
  • Assisting with play equipment maintenance tasks

Requirements:

• 
  Skills and Experience:
  • Understanding of risk assessments and health and safety requirements associated with litter removal and Maintenance operations
  • Positive approach to team working and cooperation with colleagues
  • Familiarity with the use of hand-held machinery (strimmers, blowers, drills, sanders, etc.)
  • Experience in litter removal, bin emptying, and graffiti removal within local authorities
• 
  Qualifications:
  • Full driving license

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:30 to 16:00
• Friday: 07:30 to 12:30
