We are looking for a part time Mobile Cleansing Operative to join our team in Hambleton.
The role
As our Mobile Cleansing Operative, you will be part of a supportive team responsible for the Council’s fleet street scene operations. This operation is pivotal to the area by ensuring pavements, public footpaths and pedestrianised areas are effectively and adequately cleansed on a regular basis which promotes cleanliness and a welcoming place for residents, businesses, and visitors to enjoy. You will also undertake a wide variety of cleansing functions such as litter picking, emptying of street bins, graffiti removal and cleaning of public conveniences to assist in the cleansing of public places and open spaces.
Hours of work are between 06.00hrs and 18:00hrs with occasional Sundays
What you will bring
All you need is your full driving licence, effective interpersonal and communication skills, a commitment to delivering a high-quality standard, and the ability to work with others within the team.
