Cleansing Operative - Whitby

We are looking for Cleansing Operatives to join our team in Whitby.

The role

As our Mobile Cleansing Operative, you will be part of a supportive team responsible for undertaking a wide variety of cleansing functions such as litter picking, emptying of street bins, graffiti removal and cleaning of public conveniences to assist in the cleansing of public and open spaces. This operation is pivotal to the area by ensuring pavements, public footpaths and pedestrianised areas are effectively and adequately cleansed on a regular basis which promotes cleanliness and a welcoming place for residents, businesses, and visitors to enjoy. You will also provide support for specific activities such as flood events to effectively distribute sand bags or to search illegally dumped waste to support fly tipping prosecutions

You may be required to cover Scarborough. 

Shifts are between 06:00 and 10pm with the occasional weekend working where you will receive an allowance of £30 per day.
