We are recruiting for a Clerical Officer QA/ Admissions within our professional services team to support our admissions and quality assurance activities adhering to governance procedures and professional body requirements. This is a permanent appointment.
Your priorities will include:
- Support the Schools quality assurance activities following Quality assurance processes I University of Dundee and have an understanding of our Professional Body requirements
- Provide assistance to Quality Assurance activities working closely with the QA/Admissions Administrator supporting a range of curriculum development groups in planning for Periodic Programme Reviews (PPRs), the annual review of taught provision process (MQERs/APQERs),
changes to taught provision and new taught provision process and ensuring the database is maintained, and the External Examiner process
- Provide support to the assessment approval process working closing with the QA/Admissions
Administrator and key staff across learning and teaching and ensuring the database is maintained
- Manage the SHS/QA & Admissions Mailbox, respond to routine enquiries, draft routine correspondence
- Support a schedule of admissions interviews and ensure an allocation of lecturers and clinical staff working closely with the Admissions and Applicant Experience (AAE) regarding applicants to attend for interview and administration of documentation which follows e.g. PVG process
- Ensure that the five core values set by the University Transformation Agenda of valuing people,
working together, integrity, making a difference and communication are implemented and embedded into the working environment within the School
Who we're looking for:
- An administrator, preferably with experience of higher education, and who has a sound knowledge of IT
- Strong planning, organisational and prioritising skills and an eye for detail
- Work independently using judgement and initiative to plan and organise own workload
- Respond proactively to challenges with the ability to work enthusiastically and flexibly as a member of a team responding to tight deadlines that are determined both internally and externally
