Clerk to Governors - Blagrave Nursery School

Blagrave Nursery School are seeking a dedicated and organised individual to join our team as a Clerk to Governors. The Clerk will play a crucial role in supporting the effective functioning of the governing body, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and facilitating communication among governors and school leadership.
You will be required to start as soon as possible and the role will be for approximately 60 - 70 hours per academic year.

Duties will include:

• Record and produce accurate minutes of governing body meetings.
• Provide administrative support to Governors, including meeting coordination and distribution of relevant documents.
• Keep abreast of relevant legislation and policies affecting the school and governance.
• Act as a point of contact for governors, facilitating communication between the governing body and school leadership.

Qualification and role requirements:

• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent minute-taking and communication skills.
• Full training can be given.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality.
