About the job
Our digital retailing strategy is core to the success of Auto Trader’s future and auto finance is instrumental in delivering our ambitions. We aim to make the finance process easier and more transparent for consumers, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence on how to pay monthly, whilst also driving efficiencies for retailers and lenders.
Over the last few years, we have developed strong partnerships with Lenders and Leasing Companies both technically through integrations, and also strategically. This role sits in the Finance and Leasing Partnerships team made up of Client Development Directors (CDDs), specifically for senior account managers to take ownership and accountability for progressing commercial and strategic relationships.
This is a field-based role which includes regular nationwide travel to client sites, and our offices in London and Manchester
Once there, our CDDs need to be able to inspire and motivate funders to work with Auto Trader across all our business areas from finance journey integrations (e.g. Deal Builder) to commercial data (e.g. valuations) and insight. We’ve got awesome solutions and data to work with and it’s the CDDs who bring this to life - able to articulate why auto finance lenders and leasing companies should partner with Auto Trader.
What we're looking for
- A good understanding of the setup and running of an Automotive Finance House and be able to identify their challenges and opportunities.
- Proven experience of dealing with senior executive teams within an Automotive Finance House
- Experience of presenting to senior stakeholders within Automotive Finance businesses
- Able to take data and use it to tell meaningful stories
- A consultative approach to be able to make customers think differently and inspire them to change
