Job description

We are delighted to be working with Mosaic Partners in their search for a Client Experience Lead. This is a newly created and unique opportunity which has come from the success Mosaic partners have seen over the past few years. It is a truly exciting and rare opportunity to work alongside two inspiring leaders.

You will be the primary point of contact for all of Mosaic’s clients and suppliers, you will play a pivotal role through engaging with new and existing clients, managing various stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered to plan, on time and to a high standard.

Your role will add value to the Client Experience that Mosaic already delivers, you must be able to take control and work methodically in a fast paced and ever-changing environment. Advising and challenging management where required to ensure the projects run smoothly.

This is a varied role which requires someone who can manage their workload effectively. You would be part of a small team but you will need to be able to work autonomously and be confident in your ability and decision making.

Alongside the project management you would be responsible for the social media campaigns and marketing, diary management, creating policies and procedure and system management.

This role includes the opportunity and scope for the role-holder to progress into a consultancy career, so there’s much room for ongoing development.

Who are Mosaic Partners?

Mosaic Partners was first established in Hoults Yard Newcastle by Kate Hargreaves, back in 2017. The business name was inspired by the vibrant Mailings Pottery produced there in the 1800s. Mosaic is also strong metaphor for organisational structure, culture, and behaviour.

At the time, Kate was an experienced organisational development practitioner and coach. She had started her career in financial services industry; customer service, sales and then progressed into people development and training. From then it was a natural step into leadership development and coaching which remains her greatest passion to date.

“I’ve always taken an entrepreneurial approach, even when I was paid a salary, for me that’s about being authentic, resourceful, and taking initiative, so the jump to setting up the consultancy when I had children, and wanted greater flexibility, was inevitable.”

Mosaic Partners has achieved consistent year on year growth, even through the trials of the pandemic. They are now proud to partner with national and international clients, SMEs through to multi-nationals, providing multi-disciplined consultancy from within the Organisation Development field, but always with a commercial and holistic twist and adopting a systemic approach to people-centred change.

In readiness for the next exciting chapter in the Mosaic story, Ian Buckingham joined as Strategic Consulting Partner in 2022. A veteran of the Board room of several London-based agencies, Ian brings decades of people-centred consultancy experience with him and is a thought-leader in the OD field. His background, experience, and approach perfectly complement’s Kate’s pioneering work in the leadership development and coaching space.

Mosaic clients trust the senior partners with their careers and reputations and Mosaic’s growth is testimony to the way the agency helps clients achieve their strategic ambitions by cultivating the potential in their people, while respecting their critical place in the picture.

“We care about our clients’ winning awards, not us.”

This relationship is, something the Directors are careful never to de-value, having both held senior client-side roles themselves.

Why this role and why now?

2024 is going to be a big year for Mosaic. They have consolidated their key supplier status with the CMI; are launching senior executive retreats; have secured a book deal with the global publisher, Routledge, on Sustainable Leadership; are fine-tuning a Future Fit Leadership Model in conjunction with the Northumbria University’s Business School; all while continuing to grow the consultancy practice.

“The creation of this exciting new stakeholder management and Client Experience role is a vital piece of our evolution as we continue to grow and support our clients in 2024. In short, leaders need us more than ever, it seems and we, in turn, need dynamic, focused support to complement our client project delivery. The potential for this function is limitless and the position could expand exponentially if we find the right catalyst or human dynamo with a shared ethos.” Ian Buckingham

The Mosaic team has no choice but to lead by example and to practice what they preach. Mosaic prides itself on co-creating and bringing clients’ stories to life, engaging their audiences with them in meaningful ways. So, rest assured, the team knows the difference between phoney words and the real thing. All potential colleagues really do need to pass the “Blackpool rock” test when it comes to living and breathing the Mosaic values:

  • Sustainable Results Focused
  • Partnership Orientated
  • Obsessed with Authenticity
  • Honour Uniqueness
  • Cultivate Creativity
  • Passionate about our Work
  • Uncompromising about Quality

“If you don’t see yourself in these words, especially the first on the list, then we’re not right for one another.  But if these values resonate with you, then this is your chance for a conversation to show us and potentially play an important part in helping Mosaic grow with very real business benefits for everyone concerned. This isn’t an opportunity that comes about every day. Personally, I would have killed for this sort of chance back before I started the company” Kate

All Mosaic clients are concerned with commerce. Even the non-profits have bills to pay and causes to finance. The Mosaic team has a hard-won reputation and is proud to help all clients generate sustainable business results from their people processes and systems. There’s very little that’s “soft and fluffy” about that and they’re genuinely really fascinated to hear how you can help them continue to serve their clients and stakeholders and achieve their goals.

So, if you feel inspired by the Mosaic story and believe that you have the attitude, attributes, values and skills to complement their vision and wow their clients; if you know that you can add a fresh dimension to the team while working with two genuine pioneers in the OD space, and a truly diverse team of catalysts and creatives, we’d love to continue the conversation…
