My client, a Digital Marketing agency, is looking to recruit a Digital Marketing Director whose role will be to lead the strategising, planning, communications, reporting and growth initiatives of your client accounts. If selected, you will:
- Serve as a credible, trusted partner and advisor to your clients, working with them to plan, forecast, and implement digital campaigns
- Develop and define our client's digital media strategies for:
- Monthly and Annual Planning
- Campaigns
- Always On
- Tactical
- A deep understanding of growth marketing within the B2B sector and how best to apply this methodology to grow revenue for clients
- Present the digital strategy to the client in collaboration with the channel lead and/or partner agency
- Demonstrate and show an unrivalled understanding of the digital landscape, industry tools, and data interpretation
- Ability to set KPIs in accordance with industry benchmarks aligned to client budgets and their needs.
- Audience mapping and segmentation abilities to enable excellent targeting
- Research on consumer insights
- Able to plan and execute with small to large media budgets
- Enable delivery of forecasting and performance reporting
- Interrogate data, campaign results, market trends, and competitor insights to identify opportunities and anticipate any issues that might lead to a lack of performance
- Coordinate the preparation of immaculate client-facing presentations to deliver your strategies in a way which is clear and compelling to the client.
- Keep a keen eye on your clients' commercial value to the agency, forecasting revenue on a monthly and yearly basis and up/cross-selling relevant services and channels whenever the opportunity arises
- Nurture and develop your direct reports, maintaining regular one-to-one sessions and identifying all training needs that might emerge
- Maintain the agency's high client retention rate by developing and fostering long-lasting client relationships
- Use both the organisations proprietary technology and third-party technology and tools for planning, reporting and campaign insights
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of your clients' sectors and market trends, thus positioning the business as an expert in the area
Qualification & Skills
- Minimum of 8 years experience in agency and/or in-house digital marketing manager/director or similar position
- Impeccable knowledge of digital marketing and the key digital channels and their challenges - SEO, PPC, Display, Social, Web, Content and Creative in particular
- Advanced report writing, data analysis and interpretation skills
- Impeccable project management skills
- Skilled at prioritising and managing both your own and your team's time across multiple clients in a fast-paced working environment
- Credible leadership skills, capable of motivating agency teams and promoting the trust of our clients
- Highly motivated, undaunted by rewarding hard work, and passionate about digital
- Extensive knowledge of digital paid media, reporting and strategies
- Experience managing creative & content teams and outputs
- Experience managing SEO outputs and strategies
- Good knowledge of digital analytics and associated tools
- A firm understanding of e-commerce and the challenges particular to online retail
- Advanced Excel skills, with a focus on data analysis and commercial forecasting
- Excellent persuasive writing skills and a keen eye for detail
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- A proven track record of proactively identifying business opportunities, problem-solving and creative thinking
- Brilliant networking skills, confidence in developing new relationships
