Client Portfolio Manager

Location: Cardiff

Position: Full Time / Permanent

Salary: £36,000-50,000 pa based on skills and experience

About the position:

Work along side our experienced client managers to build strong client relationships. This is a varied role covering all aspects of accounts, tax and business advisory work. You'll apply your accountancy and people skills to become a valued business adviser and enjoy the variety of working with different businesses in different industries.

You’ll join an expert, qualified team of ACCA, ICAEW, CIOT and AAT accountants to manage a portfolio of prestigious clients.

 

Collaborate with group offices across the UK and Ireland to expand your knowledge.

 

You will:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and advise on all aspects of their business to help them grow, reduce tax and plan for the future
  • Attend client meetings to review performance and set targets
  • Review work for Juniors and assist with training and development
  • Win new clients and build strong relationships with existing clients
  • Manage all aspects of client relationship including, quoting, agreeing services, invoicing, payment method and annual engagement renewal
  • Report to the Directors on portfolio performance and internal targets set
  • Assist in the production of Management and Annual Accounts, forecasts and performance reports
  • Provide Xero training and support on a range of digital solutions to clients
  • Complete related admin tasks as required

 

Skills and Experience required:

5 years experience in an Accountancy Practice preferred

AAT/ATT L4, CIMA qualified or ACA/ACCA qualified (will consider part qualified with practice experience).

Exceptional communication, teamwork and organisational skills and determination to provide excellent customer service essential.
