About the Client Relationship Manager - Banking Clients role

Due to continued growth they now have a new role available for a Client Relationship Manager - Banking Clients & this is an opportunity to join an organisation committed to a personalised, client-focused service.

Purpose & Responsibilities of the Client Relationship Manager - Banking Clients role

To manage and develop the Client Relationships for consumer finance and commercial clients. The role would involve being the key day to day contact for a number of key clients with the focus being to maintain and enhance the relationship to a high standard, retain the work, improve profitability of offering, and provide new and / or enhanced services.

Your Responsibilities

  • Represent the business at client review meetings/audits ensuring all pre/post audit and review actions are completed to a high standard.
  • To look after clients on site including health and safety, ordering and distributing lunch and refreshments, and organising attendance from other areas of the business as required.
  • Working with Reporting to produce client MI in line with Clients' individual requirements
  • Ensuring client records are accurately maintained and comprehensive minutes of meetings are captured, circulated and filed within 7 days. All actions must be clearly defined, allocated and completed in a timely manner.
  • To continually review and assess, in conjunction with the Executive Team, the service being provided to the clients.
  • To manage the clients' change and reporting requests effectively and efficiently, ensuring any changes are embedded into the operation in line with the business and client needs
  • To support the Executive in managing the strategic aspects of Client Relationships.
  • To work with the Executive Team in the constant review and refinement of existing propositions, and to research and manage the development of new propositions, including tender processes in addition to identifying and progressing new business opportunities with existing clients, in conjunction with the Business Development Director and Chief Operating Officer
  • Integration of new clients or work streams into the team including liaising with key stakeholders
  • To maintain a generalist knowledge of case law, changes to legislation, and changes to best practice in addition to attendance at the internal Governance Risk and Compliance Committee to ensure fully abreast of all internal changes or upcoming regulatory changes and sharing the same with clients as necessary
  • Checking and finalising month end invoices and liaising with Credit Control where necessary to ensure invoices are paid in line with client contracts
  • Reviewing commercial arrangements with existing clients and ensuring we are charging in line with those contractual arrangements to maximise income.
  • Maintain good relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • To work with the Chief Operating Officer in managing commercial aspects of the service provided to clients, particularly service pricing, and to provide input to the budgeting and forecasting process in relation to income.
  • To support the other CRM as required.
