The Purpose of the role


  • Supporting a newly installed ShareDo Case Management System - helping the business realise the most benefit of the product
  • Developing and maintaining one or more of our Case Management Systems ShareDo, P4W, Appian, Peppermint, Axxia, and Proclaim within our Agile Delivery Processes
  • Proposing and implementing solutions to business requirements that align with our product roadmap and architecture
  • Supporting Change and Release Management processes as part of the software development lifecycle
  • Providing 3rd line specialist support for the Client Systems Portfolio


Role Priorities


  • Becoming familiar with the applications, integrated solutions, backlogs and current roadmaps as well as the supported business processes.
  • Participate in Agile Ceremonies
  • Begin to undertake testing tasks, progressing to basic modifications and creations of features and then on to more complex user stories.


Key Accountabilities


  • Designing, creating, testing and problem solving of workflows, data entry and retrieval screens
  • Coding new and updating existing template letters for automatic document assembly
  • Documenting all work in accordance with agreed standards (including DevOps, ServiceNow, etc)


Key Competencies you will need


  • The ability to produce high quality technical material, and to identify and develop opportunities to provide business benefit.
  • Strong operational transformation experience with an analytical skillset to assess, identify and exploit opportunities.
  • Excellent organisation and the ability to prioritise and carry out multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem solving abilities with the ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues, and solutions.
  • The ability to build good relationships with clients/operational managers and colleagues.


Skills and Experience


A minimum of 3 years demonstrable track record of working as Case Developer or workflow-based Low Code developer.


You will need to have previous experience with the below tech stack:


  • Low Code Platforms: Appian, Sharedo, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar
  • Case Management Systems: Proclaim, Axxia, P4W, Peppermint or similar
  • Document Management Systems: iManage, HighQ, SharePoint or similar
  • Designing and Architecting Applications
  • Source Control
  • Scrum/Agile
  • Azure DevOps
  • ITSM Processes and platforms: ServiceNow or similar


Experience with the following would be beneficial:


  • Power Apps & PowerBI
  • C#, .Net & ASP.Net
  • MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS , T-SQL, Azure SQL Server

We have hubs in Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leicester, London, Lincoln, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Solihull, Stratford-upon-Avon and Sheffield. This role will be predominantly home based with travel as required into Birmingham or one of our other West Midlands hubs
