The School of Healthcare has developed a new physiotherapy clinic for the provision of services for the local population, led by our students as part of their placement experience. Students will assess and treat patients with a wide variety of conditions under the direct supervision of an experienced clinical team.
This post provides the opportunity for an enthusiastic neurological or musculoskeletal physiotherapist with excellent clinical skills, to lead a physiotherapy team in our innovative physiotherapy placements clinic. You will work closely with the Practice Education Lead for the School and Physiotherapy to build the clinic business and constantly review and refine processes to optimise care and delivery by the students. You will oversee the day to day running of the clinic and supervise specialist clinical educators.
As a practice focused lecturer, you will be expected to maintain your clinical practice whilst teaching and supporting students on placement in the clinic. You will develop yourself as a national leader in this area of higher education practice. You will deliver excellent student support and pursue innovation and enhancement in student learning and experience with a view to ensuring outstanding student satisfaction.
