Clinical Coding Officer Lead

Are you a highly skilled and motivated senior Clinical Coding Officer who is looking to join a growing team?

As the Senior Clinical Coding Officer Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and leading the Clinical Coding team to ensure accurate and timely coding of medical records.

You will be responsible for managing a team of skilled Clinical Coding Officers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure compliance with coding standards and regulations.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional who is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of coding accuracy and contributing to the overall success of the healthcare organisation.

The Skills you need..

• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Coding Specialist - Physician-based (CCS-P) certification
• In-depth knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS Level II coding systems, and other relevant coding guidelines.
• National Clinical Coding Qualification ( NCCQ)
• Experience in using e-Record/ PAS System – Cerner Millennium/ Powerchart, other IT Systems

This opportunity is on a six month contract basis, paying a competitive rate.
