Salary - £43,500
Hours - 37.5 hours per week - 100% supernumerary
Location - Arundel, West Sussex
We are recruiting for a highly motivated Clinical Deputy Manager (RMN/RGN) to join this small nursing home in Arundel. It is a specialist nursing facility which provides an excellent service for elderly residents who may have some age related conditions. My client is looking for an individual with vision and drive to feel empowered to make a difference.
As an experienced RMN/RGN (current NMC registration) with supervisory experience you will work in collaboration with the Manager in the daily management of running the care home delivering high quality care as part of the team in a person centred approach. Our home is striving to develop and provide the best care possible to our residents, with your clinical experience, you will provide valuable support, guidance and assistance to your team. You will also have the opportunity to develop in your career acting up in the managers absence.
The role will be 100% supernumerary, you will work a rolling shift pattern which may include alternate weekends and have a flexible approach to working hours.

Main Responsibilities
• To assist the Home Manager in providing leadership to staff in order to deliver the highest possible quality of care within a safe working and living environment
• To lead the nursing teams to provide high quality, person centred care and support in way which promotes: dignity; privacy; safety and independence and which promotes equality & diversity for everyone living and working in the Service.
• To support the Home Manager to manage the effective use of resources, including those which impact on the financial performance of the Service, and maintain high levels of occupancy.
• To comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times.
• To ensure the smooth and effective running of the transitional unit within the home and liaise with external health professionals.
• To provide Clinical Leadership and supervision within the Service
• Will have full accountability for Infection Control implementation and audit throughput the service.
The Ideal Candidate
• Active UK Nurse Pin
• Previous experience as a Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse
• Previous experience within a care home setting
• Experience with elderly residents
• A strong knowledge of person-centred care
• Working closely with each resident, assessing their needs and delivering a care plan that helps each person to live a fuller life
• You'll provide the very best levels of clinical care, make sure that all procedures are carried out to the highest of standards and optimising the wellbeing of every resident
