About the home:
We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Deputy Manager (RGN) or (RMN) to join our friendly and welcoming care home providing nursing care for adults with a range of needs including dementia, old age and elderly care and physical disability.
This is a 38 bed home located in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership and management to nursing staff in our home. Ensure high standards of elderly nursing care and compliance with CQC standards
• Support the Home Manager in day-to-day operational management of the nursing home
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments and continuously monitor care quality
• Manage staff rota, annual leave, recruitment, induction, supervision, and appraisal of junior nursing staff
• Liaise with doctors, district nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless care 

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC PIN and proven experience as a Clinical Nurse Manager in an elderly care nursing home setting
• Extensive experience of elderly care including dementia and physical disabilities care management
• A strong leader able to motivate and manage a large staff team
• 44-hour work week with flexibility to work weekends and unsocial hours as needed
