A Vacancy at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.
The Clinical Engineering team are looking to appoint an Office Supervisor/ Contracts Administrator to provide clerical and administrative support for the Medical Device Management team throughout MFT.
Thousands of medical devices are utilized by clinical staff throughout our health care organisation every day and these range from simple consumable items all the way through to complex biomedical electrical equipment. Medical Device Management is a growing speciality with governance that applies to every division and service within the trust.
You will be responsible for supervising the Administration function and maintaining the safety alerting system via Ulysses the MFT Governance system. That includes receipting alerts on to the system, distributing alerts and chasing updates. Scanning and filing documents.
You will be accessing the Medical Device Inventory (e-Quip) to search for assets that may be affected by Medical Device alerts or Field Safety notices.
You will help manage the monthly medical device training study days through scheduling, organising rooms, booking staff on and booking manufacturers to provide the clinical training.
You may occasionally be called upon to travel to work across site to support training at other sites within the Trust.
You will respond to queries from clinical staff regarding medical device training and assist them in accessing suitable training and assist with administrative duties within Clinical Engineering and Device management.
