Clinical Fellow In Prehospital Emergency Medicine

GeneralTo work within the trust values and adhere to local polices and guidelines To comply with guidance from the General Medical Council (GMC) on good medical practice To ensure maintenance of a valid GMC registration and licence to practice Participate in mandatory training and keep up to date ClinicalProvide community based Emergency Medicine within a doctor and paramedic team Provide a 24 hour Emergency Medicine service to the main department along with fellow registrar colleagues and report to the ED consultant. Take a leadership role in development and delivery of emergency care and ongoing medical plans in community patients including liaising with other health care providers such as primary care. Support and supervise allied health professionals in the pre-hospital setting EducationHave an enthusiastic attitude towards training Participate in formal and informal teaching of paramedics, nurses, ACPs and junior doctors in both emergency and pre-hospital Emergency Medicine. Participate in regular simulation based training
