As a Clinical Lead, you will:
- Support the implementation of the agreed model of care.
- Set and monitor standards of care, and take part in quality improvement programmes.
- Adhere to Mental Health Act requirements for detained patients.
- Manage unit resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with Risk Management and Health and Safety regulations.
- Deputise for the Unit Manager and have 24-hour responsibility in their absence.
- Efficiently use staffing resources, ensuring safe staffing levels.
- Supervise junior staff, ensuring adherence to unit policies and procedures.
- Motivate and act as a role model within the team.
- Manage designated service areas/site during night duty rotation.
- Encourage the development of social, family, and personal relationships for service users.
- Take part in audits and data collection.
- Provide clinical supervision and maintain high professional conduct.
- Adhere to unit policies, guidelines, and relevant legislation.
