Job Opportunity: Experienced Social Worker - Directorate: People (Adults)

Location: Slough Community Mental Health Team, New Horizons
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Enhanced DBS check required

Are you an experienced Social Worker seeking a dynamic role within a busy multi-disciplinary team? Look no further! We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join us in our mission to provide exceptional care and support to our clients with severe and enduring mental illness.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support our multi-disciplinary team, providing supervision and ongoing development for staff.
  • Liaise with other agencies and carers to plan and assess programmes of care for clients, utilizing a flexible and holistic approach.
  • Report service deficits and successes to senior management, ensuring effective implementation of Social Services and national policies.
  • Promote effective working relationships within the team and collaborate with relevant agencies.

Requirements:

  • Recognized social work qualification (CQSW, CSS, Dip SW).
  • Ability to adapt to a changing organizational environment.
  • Proficiency in IT packages such as Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team and motivate others.
