We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Clinical Lead to join our Multi-Disciplinary Team. We are seeking a Clinical Lead with appropriate knowledge and leadership skills who has a passion for quality improvement and leading people. You will be responsible for providing leadership in delivering high quality nursing care utilising a range of approaches including codes of conduct, evidence-based practice, standards and systems . You will support, advise and educate the nursing team ensuring high quality care is given.
Main duties of the job
You will be working in a multidisciplinary team which includes medical staff, Allied Health Professionals (including Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy), a Health and Fitness team and peer support workers/volunteers. Our therapeutic environment includes dedicated therapy rooms, and a large gym.
As a member of the team, you will support the delivery of responsive, evidence-based, recovery focused care to everyone in our care. Bowmere operates 24 hour cover therefore, you are required to work shifts which will include nights. There are a variety of shifts available and all requests for flexible and part time working will be considered.

Maple Ward – is a 18 bedded male rehabilitation ward with 7 forensic NHS England beds. Maple is a fast-paced environment that focuses on caring for people in the rehabilitation phase of their illness and promotes collaborative working to facilitate early and safe discharge. The team on Maple are passionate about the work they do and dynamic in their approach to caring for people. It is an excellent ward to develop your Clinical Leadership skills.
Willow Ward - is a mixed gender, 7 bedded PICU. Willow is a challenging ward focusing on caring for patients in the most acute phase of their illness. The Ward places emphasis on person focused care enabling patients to progress quickly on their recovery pathway.
The Trust promotes continual professional development with opportunities and courses to extend your learning.
You be working in a multidisciplinary team. Our therapeutic environment includes dedicated therapy rooms, & a gym.
We will provide you with free on-site car parking as well as excellent access to public transport. There is a discounted, onsite nursery also.
