SalaryMy client is a highly regarded North Leeds law firm who is looking for a Clinical Negligence assistant Fee earner to join their expanding team.
The successful candidate will be provided with the opportunity to work with a team of Clinical Negligence specialists who puts a huge emphasis on providing excellent service to its clients.
Key Tasks
- Vetting New Enquiries
- Discussing and agreeing case tactics and planning with the Team Leader
- Supporting the case leader in case management and progression
- Instructing experts.
- Compiling statements.
- Compiling Letter of Claims.
- Instructing counsel.
- Attending conferences.
- Assisting with litigation.
- Participating in ADR
- Assisting with departmental development.
- Assisting with website development.
- Compiling case studies and articles for publication.
- General administration duties required on files.
- Any other tasks required by the Case leader.
Essential Skills
- Excellent drafting and attention to detail
- Proclaim knowledge would be an advantage.
- Strong customer care and communication skills.
- Excellent organisation skills and time management.
- Strong ability to work well under pressure
Experience
3-4 years in legal practice
