Responsibilities: * Manage a diverse caseload of Clinical Negligence claims, including those involving medical malpractice, surgical errors, misdiagnosis, and birth injuries. * Conduct thorough investigations into clients' claims, gathering evidence, obtaining medical records, and consulting with expert witnesses as necessary. * Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients, explaining their rights, options, and the legal process involved in pursuing a Clinical Negligence claim. * Prepare and draft legal documents, including letters of claim, court pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. * Negotiate settlements with defendants and their insurers, striving to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients through mediation, arbitration, or litigation in court. * Collaborate with internal teams, including paralegals, legal assistants, and other solicitors, to ensure effective case management and support for clients throughout the claims process.
