Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our dynamic team in a hybrid work arrangement. As a key member of our firm, you will handle a varied caseload of Clinical Negligence claims, providing expert legal advice and representation to individuals affected by medical errors or substandard care.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of Clinical Negligence matters from inception through to resolution, ensuring timely progression and adherence to legal procedures. (You may assist a Senior Solicitor on their complex caseload, depending on your level of experience)
- Conduct thorough investigations into potential cases, gathering evidence, and liaising with medical experts, witnesses, and relevant parties to build strong claims.
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients, explaining complex legal concepts in a clear and empathetic manner.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including court proceedings, witness statements, and settlement proposals.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and negotiations, representing clients' best interests effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including support staff and other solicitors, to optimize case outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on changes in legislation, case law, and industry developments relevant to Clinical Negligence.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 years' experience handling or heavily assisting on Clinical Negligence cases within a reputable law firm or legal practice.
- Strong knowledge of medical negligence law, procedures, and precedents, with a track record of successful case outcomes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills, with the ability to empathise and build rapport with clients.
- Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently, demonstrating attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
