• Full-time positions available!. Full-time is a commitment of 36 hours/week (3 12-hour shifts). At this time, we do not offer per diem for this role. Currently we have openings for our day shift (7am - 7:30pm) and night shift (7pm - 3:30am). Please note, the schedule for this position does change on a weekly basis and will require you to work different days of the week/weekend.

The pay rate for this role starts at $20.00/hour and is based on experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Clinical Patient Safety Attendant (CPSA) is responsible for specific aspects of direct patient care and monitoring focused of safety, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The CPSA commits to providing and maintaining a safe and caring environment for our patients, their families, and our colleagues while promoting physical, emotional, psychological and cognitive wellbeing. The CPSA fulfills this purpose by:

• Upholding a professional and compassionate demeanor

• Providing individualized, evidence-based, therapeutic interventions to address specific safety needs

• Being an active member of and contributor to the interdisciplinary team

• Utilizing safe, timely, effective, equitable, efficient and patient-centered communication

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of AS degree in health care, mental health or human services related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Previous health care experience preferred

Pro-ACT crisis intervention training preferred
