Are you a skilled Clinical Physiologist looking for an exciting career opportunity? Day Webster Recruitment is thrilled to present an outstanding vacancy for an experienced Clinical Physiologist to join our esteemed AHP division.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic tests and procedures, including electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, exercise stress tests, and ambulatory monitoring, to assess cardiovascular function and identify cardiac abnormalities.
  • Conduct non-invasive vascular studies, such as Doppler ultrasound examinations, to evaluate blood flow, detect vascular diseases, and assess vascular integrity.
  • Administer respiratory function tests, including spirometry, lung volume measurements, and gas exchange studies, to evaluate pulmonary function and diagnose respiratory disorders.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including cardiologists, respiratory therapists, and physicians, to interpret test results, formulate treatment plans, and provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting test procedures, results, and observations in compliance with regulatory standards and professional guidelines.
  • Ensure the safe and effective operation of diagnostic equipment, performing routine maintenance checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Clinical Physiology or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Registration with the Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists (RCCP) or equivalent professional body.
  • Proven experience working as a Clinical Physiologist in a healthcare or clinical setting, with expertise in performing diagnostic tests and procedures related to cardiovascular and respiratory function.
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in operating diagnostic equipment, including ECG machines, echocardiography systems, vascular ultrasound machines, and respiratory function testing equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and communicate complex information to patients.
