Hays Healthcare are actively recruiting a Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Merseyside. The successful candidate will provide psychological assessments, therapy, and consultation services to our diverse clientele.
Your new role and responsibilities

• The specialist provides psychological assessments for referred clients. This involves using and interpreting complex data from various sources such as psychological tests, neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, and structured observations. They also conduct semi-structured interviews with the clients, their family members, and others involved in the client's care.

• To provide specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to clients formulation, diagnosis and treatment plan

• The specialist creates and implements plans for formal psychological treatment or management of a client's psychological issues. These plans are based on an appropriate understanding of the client's problems and use methods that have proven to be effective

• The specialist acts as a care coordinator when needed, taking on the responsibility of initiating, planning, and reviewing care plans under enhanced CPA. This involves working with clients, their carers, referring agents, and others involved in the care network

• The specialist communicates assessment, formulation, and treatment plans for clients in a skilled and sensitive manner. They also monitor progress during both uni- and multi-disciplinary care.
