The Role

The successful candidate will utilize psychological models and practices to enhance the learning, cognitive, and emotional skills of young people, preparing them for adult life and independent living. This includes:

  • Conducting assessments through clinical interviews and psychometric testing.
  • Collaborating with the MDT and external professionals.
  • Developing and delivering training packages for staff and families.
  • Creating and implementing therapeutic group and individual interventions.
  • Supervising Assistant Psychologists as needed.

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience with young people with autism, particularly ages 11-16.
  • Doctorate-level clinical qualification in Psychology.
  • Registration and accreditation with the Health & Care Profession Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • A commitment to promoting the dignity and individuality of young people.
